I think it is important to have videos on the same platform because companies, including Jukin, pull in cash by scoring YouTube and other sites for people who have reposted their videos. Jukin Media can also issue a takedown notice when it sees copies of its clips floating around on unofficial pages in apps like Facebook. For its customers, Jukin Media and companies that are similar, provide an indispensable service. Online video has matured and I think companies that make viral videos big in popular culture are necessary in the present day.
